FX Levels for Today July 18 Overview The USD gained further ground overnight, buoyed again by falling crude oil and rallying stocks. This coincidental fall in crude and rise in shares just doesn't smell right to me. The USD's gains over the last couple of days needs to be looked at with caution, given the state of uncertainty surrounding the US economy, and their financial markets. I tend to favour looking for levels at which we can sell the USD, rather than sell the EUR or buy the USD.
